Stop trying to connect to my phone

I receive occasional messages in the Log reading as follows:
<Your> iPhone
Development cannot be enabled while your device is locked.
Please unlock your device and reattach.
Why is Rider trying to connect to my phone and how do I stop it? I have no use for this.
