Kubuntu - how to make middle mouse click work with go to declaration?
Hi,
i'm using rider 2021.1.1 on Kubuntu 20.10 with xmousepasteblock to remove the forced text-pasting on middlemouse click everywhere. So far this works great in preventing garbled code.
But one thing remains, that i cannot middle mouse click on a symbol to go to its declaration, nothing happens if i do.
I don't think it's related to xmousepasteblock as this should not interfere with the actual click event (as confirmed by seing middlemouse working in every other application as expected).
Is there any trick to make it work, or is it maybe not even supported/possible on Kubuntu?

Hi Flavelius!
Thank you for contacting us. It seems like you meet a known issue: IDEA-245066. Please, feel free to follow the thread and add your logs there, if it is possible.
Thank you!
Hi, this one doesn't look like the same problem, because i forgot to mention that ctrl-leftclick and f12 (which is the shortcut for go to declaration for me) work normally. It's really just the middle mouse one that doesn't seem to be caught.
Thank you for the details.
Could you please check what is assigned for `Go to declaration` in your `File | Settings | Keymap`?
Also, I would like to ask you to collect logs right after middle-click via `Help | Collect logs`. You can attach them privately to a new request via `Help | Report a bug` (logs will be collected and attached automatically) or `Help | Contact support`.
Thank you in advance!
Yes, it is set there. I wasn't sure if it qualified as a rider bug or could have been related to something else. I'll submit a bugreport then, thanks.
It could be also related to the IDEA as it is a core of Rider. We'll check the logs and process the issue. Thank you!
