Code Completion popup works on every second key stroke

On version 2026.1.2 I've started to notice this behavior
when i want a object property, lets say CultureCode
when i write
o.C - there is a popup that hints CultureCode
then i press “u”, so its o.Cu - the popup disappears
then i press “l”, so its o.Cul - the popup displays again
and so on,
on every second key stroke - popup goes on/off

i thought it was a temporary bug, so i waited for 2026.1.3, it stayed like this
my current build is 
Build #RD-261.25134.178, built on June 14, 2026
it persists after the cache reset
it persists after the reinstall
it persist on different PC

if its an option i can toggle i cannot find it
there is no information about it and i can't fix it

can anyone help/explain to me whats wrong?
maybe i am doing something wrong?

Could you please capture a screencast of this issue? 

Also, to take a closer look at the issue, we will need additional logs. Please do the following (see SUPPORT-A-275 How to collect Rider logs with Traces for details):

  1. Reproduce the issue first. Once the completion popup is empty
  2. Go to Help | Diagnostic tools | Choose Trace Scenarios;
  3. Enable the trace scenario for Completion
  4. Call the completion again
  5. Collect the full log bundle via Help | Collect Logs and Diagnostic Data;
  6. Disable the trace scenarios enabled;
  7. upload it to our server  the resulting log bundle  and share the ID.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply
I've started using older rider version, than today i switched to the newest and for now its working - sorry for the issue

The same problem however persists in DataGrip 
I've uploaded the screen cast:

But i don't have the “Choose Trace Scenarios;” in DataGrip (DataGrip 2026.1.3, Build #DB-261.24374.56, built on May 4, 2026)
it will probably resolve it self after a proper update - so idk if there is anything to do here

For DataGrip, could you please upload the idea.log file, which can be located via Help | Show Log in…?
