Question on non-commercial license vs. lapsed paid subscription, and commercial transition

Hello,

I have two licensing questions I'd like to clarify.

1) Old paid license vs. new non-commercial license
I previously had a paid annual subscription for Rider that I did not renew (expired in May 31, 2025). I understand this granted me a perpetual fallback license for the version current at that time. However, in my Jetbrains account, I can see that I also have another non-commercial license, which I didn't pay for and wasn't awar of, valid through May 27, 2027. Can you confirm what this license is and how it interacts with my existing perpetual fallback license?

2) Transitioning a non-commercial project to commercial use
If I start a Unity project under the non-commercial license (for hobby) and, after some time (say a few years), I decide it's worth releasing commercially or further develop, I'd like to understand the licensing obligation at that point:
- Am I expected to retroactively pay for a commercial license covering the years I used the non-commercial license while developing it?
- Do I need to pay for a commercial license as long as my game is being sold, or I can pay for a single year, disable the auto-renewable and get a fallback license?

Thanks in advance for the clarification.
