Rider 2026.2.2 AI Assistant - Generate Code doesn't work anymore

I used to generate code with AI Assistant. With the new update to 2026.2.2 this feature became useless. First of all sometimes the hotkey just doesn't work at all. Also when it works, now it uses Junie with a new chat, takes much longer and uses much more tokens. Before the code was shown direcly and I could review and accept it or not. 

Any way I can get the old Code Generation back?

Hello Doomchecker 

  1. Please check if you can invoke this action via the main menu: Code > Generate Code with AI. If the popup doesn't open, then the problem is not the shortcut.
  2. Do you work on macOS? 
  3. If the popup opens from the menu, but not with the shortcut, please troubleshoot the keybinding as described here.

It works. But only with Junie. 

Is there any way I can set it back as it was before? Currently asking for a simple code generation may cost me 1 point of 10 I have for the month, and it may take minutes to answer. Before it was really quick and smooth, cost often less then 0.1 points. Now it is not usable anymore :(
