Hello Timothy Grant,  I wonder if "==" operator is overridden? For reference types other than string, == by default returns true if its two operands refer to the same object.

1. Open "Run/Debug Configurations" dialog (Run -> Edit configurations) 2. Add new "Before launch" configuration 3. Specify a path to dotnet executable, needed parameters and a working directory
