Actually, I stand partially corrected. The only property that was different in the build.props files between the build and deploy targets was the `AndroidNdkLocation`, which was empty for the build...

Still an issue in 2019.3, I'm afraid. For building / running Xamarin.Android, Rider is still quite useless in this form unfortunately.
