I've just seen this happen with a breakpoint under Slate code, and although there are square brackets involved like lambdas, I noticed this time it was engine file. They may have been engine files ...

Yes, I shall indeed do that next time I'm debugging an area with lambdas. Happens everytime fortunately.

Your first suggestion worked: giving “Up” and “Down” additional keystrokes.It was only out of interest I was asking what “Lookup Down” and “Lookup Up” actually do - as they didn't do what I expected.

I'm afraid that didn't fix it - it's feeling more like a bug than than an option though. Anyway it's going to be a hard one to track down - so I'll just add blank lines between the line I'm workin...
